Magazine Pouches
The early designs in magazine pouches did not take into account the potential for speed reloading the semi-auto pistol. As a rule of thumb, the top 1-1/2” of the magazine should be exposed so that the magazine is grasped by the non-gun hand properly for the technique of reloading. Belts
The importance of the belt in your carry system cannot be underestimated. Most belts are designed to support only the weight of your pants. The gun belt should be made out of tough dense leather and should be lined with leather. The total thickness should be approximately ¼”.
